Perspective correction

Perspective correction straightens converging edges without changing the original photograph.

In Crop & straighten, use Vertical and Horizontal to correct convergence and Aspect to adjust proportions. Constrain Crop is on by default: it derives a smaller crop with the same aspect ratio, keeping empty edges out of the result. The stored crop remains editable. Correction is global and follows the photograph into previews and exports.

For architecture, choose Guided. Move the endpoints of two vertical guides onto upright edges and two horizontal guides onto level edges. Apply Guides commits one undoable correction; Cancel discards the guide placement. Invalid or overlapping guides cannot be applied. The manual controls can fine-tune a guided correction. Finish with Done to inspect the cropped result. Perspective belongs to framing: it follows same-frame version copies but stays behind when a recipe is applied to other photographs.
